Congrats to F1 in Schools on winning prestigious motorsport industry award

Congratulations to Andrew Denford, Founder and Chairman of F1 in Schools on winning one of the motorsport industry’s most prestigious awards at a glittering star-studded event on Sunday night. At the 28^th Annual Autosport Awards, F1 in Schools won the Pioneering and Innovation in Motorsport Award. Solid Works Tutorial

Visit our website www.F1inSchools.ie and go to the Resources/Software section where there’s a video on designing the car, but more importantly there’s a Solid Works Tutorial there that includes a chapter on analysis of your design using COSMOS – all specifically put together for the F1 in Schools project.

Koni Kats honoured with 'Special Award for Engineering Excellence'

UCD Dean of Engineering, Dr. David Timoney earlier today presented the team Koni Kats with a 'Special Award for Engineering Excellence' following their fantastic achievement on becoming F1 in Schools World Champions

Plans submitted - results out 7th Dec

The five page plans have now all been received for the Qualifying Stage and are at present being judged. We will let all teams know by email, through their teacher as to whether they have been successful or not in qualifying through to the Regional Final stage. Good luck!
